I've never been to the Tulip Festival before so Dillon took me this morning before I had to work.
I wasn't sure what we were going to do for 2 hours out in the tulip fields, but it turned out to be a really fun day.
The pictures below are from the first field we went to...which was by far the most impressive in terms of size. And of course, after I took a few photos, my camera died. Typical.
The other tulip field we went to was more visitor-friendly and even though it was smaller, there were hundreds of varieties of tulips and each one was labeled. Whoever got to name each tulip had a fun job.
Did I mention we found an espresso stand? Washington spoils me :)
Other highlights of the day: sunshine and riding my bike to work.
